Free live not local sexy chatrooms
Can't blame the site too much when it's free, as obviously they can't afford staff to vet everything. It can only give RSVP et al some healthy competition and encourage them to be more fair with fee structures.
Oasis active is much better than most, especially for a free site.
Thus, their target market remains women, 27-34 – who may not be ready to settle down quite yet.
These women still have money to make, places to travel and oats to sow.
It’s the same exact advice I give to women in their early 40’s who want men in their early 40’s…except men in their early 40’s want women in their 30’s. I’m being a bit unfair, Adam, because there IS a market for a 42-year-old man – and you can certainly be doing better than you’re currently doing. I’m looking for a LTR but with that said I’ m not willing to settle.
Pick up a copy of Finding The One Online and it should make a difference. But the bigger takeaway is that ALL of us are very judgmental on age. To a 42-year-old man who wants his own biological children, anything above 36 is getting into risky territory. I’m a 37 year old woman and have online dated off and on over the years. I would date a 42 year old, not a problem, but as you say, men in their 40’s are looking for women who are in the 27-34 year old bracket.
I just discovered Oasis and ended up here while searching around for what people have been saying about it.
The problem with most free sites is that, registration is too easy -username, password & check some boxes, so you end up with a lot of messages from clowns & scammers, you know "the babes that look too good to be true", and probably some kids under age because the only requirement is basically "click here if you are over 18" Let's face it the sole purpose of a free dating site is not about dating, but to get you to click their ads because that's how they make their money. In online situations, women say they want desperately to meet a nice guy like me, but never answer my response to their profile. They have a lot of dating options, they’re building their careers, and there isn’t a clear urgency to settle down.I am trying to remain positive, but two things are really bothering me. Once a guy crosses 35, however, he (theoretically) tends to get more serious. So their structure is aimed at making people go premium simply out of desperation if they really want to contact someone. It's interesting that Match is now being taken to task for that approach: News/id USN0939287520090609 With the above in mind I, for one, welcome our free-dating-site overlords.I know only of Oasis Active and Plenty Of Fish so far.
